Some people LOVE to make excuses. It’s too hard. I don’t want to. I don’t know how. Blah blah blah.

When I tell people they need to get started building a business online, I hear a lot of the same excuses over and over. There are good reasons for not getting into Internet marketing. But I’m sick of hearing the same old excuses over and over.

Excuse 1: I don’t have the time.

If you don’t have the time to start a business, do you have the time to work for someone else for the rest of your life? Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing wrong with having a job, but having a successful online business can help to provide financial flexibility and support – and maybe even help you leave your fulltime job.

As I have said elsewhere, building a business online takes time. However, if you’re willing to commit a few minutes each day to your business, you can get started. Ideally, you would want to devote more time to your business, but when you’re just starting our, even a few minutes can be enough.

Excuse 2: I don’t have the money.

I hear you loud and clear on that one. I’ve been there done that.

It’s no secret that running an online business takes time and money. There are tools to buy, services to pay for.

But there are ways to get started for very little money at all.

As you earn money, and as your business grows, take those earnings and put them back into your business.

It is certainly possible to get started with next to nothing. So don’t let that hold you back.

Excuse 3: I don’t know where to start.

A LOT of people are stuck here. They have a bit of time and money to invest, but they don’t know where to start. Man, I’ve been there too. The Internet doesn’t help either.

Internet marketing is a field that is full of liars and cheats and people looking to make a quick buck at the expense of their neighbors. It’s disgusting. The thick fog of deception clouds the path for those who want to do things honestly but don’t know how to start.

There are those who are doing it right. The training is available if you know where to look. In fact, that is one reason this site exists. I got so sick of the drudge of the Internet marketing industry and the blind leading the blind.

People need help, not another blind tour guide!

So let me tell you this: If you don’t know where to start, you’re in the right place. If you’re willing to learn, and you’re willing to learn the right way to do things, please get in touch. As I have said elsewhere, I’m not some big guru or anything. I’m just a guy who knows a bit about what works and what doesn’t.

The bottom line:

Don’t let these excuses get in the way of building a successful business online. Yes, building a business takes time, money and know-how, but you can get started even if you are lacking any or all of the three.

The trick is to take the first step. Most people fail before Step 1.
